...and did a few suspension travel tests similar to what guys do with their off-road vehicles to check flex by driving onto uneven surfaces to put as much weight as possible on left/right rear (one at a time) to see how much clearance I have. Seems to be ok and the PowerTrix SS is pretty stiff (IMO) so not much travel anyway! I understand that this won't substitute for instantaneous travel when hitting a pothole, turning hard, etc, but it gave me an idea of the direction of travel of the wheel, which is pretty much vertical anyway, not to mention additional "top in" during suspension travel, moving it away from the fender lip even more.
